I started my career in Early Childhood as a 0-5 Child Care Worker and then Room Leader for pre-school children aged 4-5. I soon learned that this is where my true passion is and began to work with children on the Autism Spectrum and that opened up a whole other pathway to the career I am in now! For the last 5 years I have been working as an SLSO where I floated between classes in a mainstream setting and in 2017 I was lucky enough to help start up our wonderful and successful Support Unit and this is where my love has landed me with a permanent position! I'm so lucky to be part of an amazing team of teachers and fellow SLSOs who share the same common goal as myself and that is to provide the best possible education to all children while having a little fun along the way! I have a secret passion (not so secret anymore!) for creating resources for the students and teachers that I work with and I want to be able to share them with others so they can enjoy these resources and hopefully make someone else's life a little easier! Each day is different and always brings a new adventure!
