MY TEACHING STYLE

I am passionate about teaching children not only to love art, but also to have a desire to investigate, explore and understand art. My program has included drawing, painting, wire, wood, fiber, clay and plaster sculpture, printmaking, commercial art including technology- claymation movies and photography.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live in Seattle, Wa where I teach art in a school specifically geared to meeting the needs of dyslexic children. Working with dyslexic children has given me a unique perspective in teaching art. I am a member of the National Art Association and the International Dyslexia Association. In my free time I enjoy painting, working with clay and making jewelry.
