TEACHING EXPERIENCE

13 years in education as an Intervention Specialist (MMD) in the Wynford Local School District - Bucyrus, Ohio. Co-teacher in Math and ELA for 13 years, grades 2-6.

MY TEACHING STYLE

What I have valued most in my career as a teacher is the ability for my students to learn new things. I believe all students have the ability to learn. It is how they learn that differs, and it is those differences that, as an educator, become my passion. I promise to always value my students for their individual strengths and needs. I will push them to be all they can be at school, at home, and hopefully in their future career. My past experience has taught me that life is precious and unpredictable. We must live each day to be our best, and never settle for less than that. I especially cherish being able to teach my students new information and help them grow. I believe they can learn new things even when things seem difficult. I promise to always be my students’ biggest cheerleader. I will coach them, encourage them, treat them fairly, and love them. When they walk into my classroom, they will be nurtured, motivated, and challenged. I hope my students will always remember that they are important, valued, and respected. Many years from now I hope they can look back and remember how I affected their education. My goal is that they will know I never gave up on them, I pushed them to new levels, and modeled responsible decision making.
