TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I went into the Navy at an early age and with the technical training received in the military, I became employed by various companies that dealt with power generation, industrial control, and nuclear medicine. I spent part of this time as a technical trainer, developing sales and training literature for the companies. I went back to school and received my Bachelor Degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in Mathematics. I always wanted to teach and after marrying my wife, we decided to pursue my teaching career in Texas. I moved to Dallas and became certified to teach in the third largest school district in the United States working with inner city students. I gained experience by teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade mathematics, Algebra 1, and Pre-calculus. I moved to be near family, and I am currently working with the students and parents of Missouri. I taught Algebra in Missouri for more than five years and I am now enjoying teaching and working with students in an alternative school located in a small Missouri town.
