TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a sixth year teacher with 5 years of Middle School Science experience, and one year teaching 6, 7, and 8th grade Math!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to set an organized and clearly-defined foundation where students can explore their own talents and creativity. Once clear expectations have been set for respect and behavior, students have a safe environment to question, test, and branch out. I like to incorporate all disciplines into my science curriculum so students can see the importance of a well-rounded education. I strive to be exciting, relevant, and to equip my students with critical-thinking skills for the real world!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a sixth year teacher in Charlotte, NC after growing up in Mississippi. I am a wife to an amazing and supportive husband, and "mama" to two energetic, creative, and sweet children who keep me more than busy! I have alternated between teaching full-time, substitute teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home-mom. I love traveling to new places, crafting, hiking, sewing, and finding fun new recipes to keep my kitchen exciting!
