I spent five years as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher in an urban elementary school setting before transitioning to Title I two years ago. Currently, I am a reading specialist serving all students in grades K-6. For the past three years, I have also served as my building's Language Arts Teacher Leader.
I have a hands-on, multi-sensory approach to teaching phonics and reading.
