TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been a teacher and tutor since 2009, but I've been primarily focused on adult ESL for the past few years! I've taught students both locally in Canada, and overseas in Japan. I've taught students from all levels - from the lowest of beginners, to advanced business students, and everything in between!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Real world learning in a relaxed atmosphere! Explicit instruction is important for adult learners, who often need to know why they are learning something. Incorporating real world tasks into the classroom is the best way to make it relevant for an adult learner. However, the atmosphere in my classes is relaxed and safe, to help students meet their full potential.
