I put this word wall list in my students folder at the beginning of the year. Some parents take it out and use it, some don't. I usually print it on some colored paper to make it easier to see within the stack of papers. Please let me know what

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught K-2 Resource (pull out), Kindergarten, Secondary (6th-12th grade ESE and K-5 VE). Upon graduating, I knew I wanted to have multiple certifications, in the event that I became bored with teaching the same thing year after year. The one thing that I have found out about ESE is that it is hard to get bored. I face new challenges sometimes daily. I love it though!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that learning should be fun. I also believe that students should be more accountable for what they learn. I believe in a fair but firm discipline plan.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

None....yet!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelors and Masters in Science in Exceptional Student Education. I have certifications in ESE K-12, K-6 and ESOL Endorsed. The majority of my academic career was spent working with students with various disabilities. I specialized in students with learning and behavior disabilities.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a huge fan of Dr. Seuss and staying organized. I teach students with disabilities and I am a mom of children with disabilities.
