TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching at my current public high school for the last sixteen years. Most of my experience is in the Philadelphia School district in an urban setting teaching students from grades 9-12 in Technology. I am the Technology Leader for the school and have developed meaningful lessons for high school students in the fields of technology and business.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to integrate the core subjects into my curriculum and have students work on many project based learning activities. Most of my lessons have a connection to the real world and applications in business.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Designated as a Keystone Technology Educator in PA Masters in Education from Arcadia University Microsoft and ICDL Certified Instructor

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My roles in education have included being a grade teacher in the elementary years. Science prep teacher and currently a Technology Leader for my high school.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I enjoy teaching technology and started selling my lessons on TPT because there seems to be a shortage of quality and meaningful lessons in the area of technology for high school students. When I first started in the Philadelphia School District I was given no resources so I had to develop my own lessons. Most of my lessons are geared towards middle school and high school. My lessons teach students how to do research, foster creativity and practice real lessons which they will need to operate effectively in the 21st century.
