I've taught tiny preschool students through the ever-growing eighth graders, but my very happiest place to be is in second grade those sweet littles! This is my ninth year teaching, with experiences ranging from teacher's aide to substitute-for-a-day to full-time teacher. What a journey, but there is always something new to learn!
I believe that every student is fully capable of learning and that it is the teacher's job to create a structured, loving environment where students feel safe to take risks and grow in leaps and bounds, as well as tiny steps and tumbles. Creating an environment and relationship that is inviting, comfortable, consistent, and communicative is essential to helping kiddos learn and grow in extraordinary ways.

I've been blessed to have experienced a full variety of educational opportunities in my lifetime. I attended private school from kinder through third grade, hopped over to a charter school from fourth through sixth grades, and then skipped myself back to my home to be homeschooled from seventh through high school. I went to a community college for my first two years of college and then transferred over to ASU to finish up my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
