TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught a variety of students of different age and ability levels, and am currently teaching K-3 emotional disabilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a special educator I am always keeping my students at the center of all my instructional plans! In our classroom we do small group work for academics because of the wide range of abilities in my classroom. I love incorporating choice making, mindfulness, culturally relevant and responsive activities, visuals, and student input into everything we do together.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love reading, spending time with friends, running (when I can drag myself out of bed to actually do it), cooking, being involved with my church, and crafting!
