I have taught 9th grade for seven years, beginning at the ripe old age of 21. Now 28, I feel I have grown significantly as a teacher and will continue to do so. I am always seeking new opportunities for professional development and look forward to my next 30 years as a teacher!
Technology has been a part of my curriculum since day one. I believe my age is an advantage (for now), as I can relate to students and don't face the generation gap that teachers often do. The love and enthusiam I feel for my subject is evident and I have a gift for captivating my audience. Projects are a central part of my classroom. I prefer the kids to SHOW me what they learned rather than circle a letter on a test.

I am 28 years old from Sebring, Florida. I have been teaching for seven years with my husband, Brian, who is also the head varsity baseball coach. Together we are doing our best to positively impact the lives of every student we encounter at Sebring High School. We have been blessed with two amazing little boys, Jaxon (4 years) and Bowen (16 months). Our lives are crazy, but I wouldn't change it for the world!
