TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a high school English teacher for 15 years and taught both English 101 and English 102 at the college level. I am also a high school Dual Enrollment (English 5H/English 101) instructor so my Honors students are earning English 101 credit at the college level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a creative and fun teacher. I believe that if you have to teach something that is in your curriculum, you can find a way to make it fun and relateable to your students. I follow the CCR standards but try to make learning enjoyable in my classroom. I teach at an inner-city school where school isn't my students' number one priority, but I try to make them want to come to my class.
