TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is NeCole. I have been teaching for 16 years. I've taught Kindergarten, PreK, 3rd grade, and was Program Director for our district's after school program. I am currently the reading interventionist,dyslexia diagnostician, and ESL coordinator for my district.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a firm believer in differentiated instruction, there is NO one size fits all instruction for students.Every child should be given the opportunity to succeed no matter what their academic abilities are.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am a graduate of Baylor University. I received my BA in Elementary Education. In 2009, I decided to go back to school and I received my Masters degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. In 2016, I finally came to the conclusion that I did not have the desire to become a principal but wanted to enhanced my knowledge in reading. I received my Master Reading Teacher Certification in the fall of last year and I am excited to coach/mentor teachers and enhance my own teaching practices.
