I am a project based learning teaching. I believe students work best when they are creatively challenged based on their interests. Some projects can take extra time but it is time well spent because children will learn more about themselves and cover multiple standards at the same time. Most importantly, the kiddos have a blast!!! When you get planning down it is actually less paper and work for the teacher as well..give it a try and be surprised.
I have masters in Early Childhood Education with a Project Based Learning Focus from Georgia State University.I received my bachelors and ESOL certification at Georgia Southern University. I taught at a school with 80% Hispanic students in attendance for five years and collected action research on my practice. (mainly word study and language)
I am a proud mommy to Wyatt and Lily. I love to sing, act, and travel. My favorite color is pink. Love decorating and organizing my classroom. Taking this year off from teaching to take care of my new edition Wyatt. Trying my hand at TPT resources and blogging.
