I am a pediatric speech and language pathologist specializing in autism spectrum disorders and augmentative and alternative communication. I work in both clinical and educational settings.
I focus on building a trusting relationship with my students. My students know that we will problem solve together, and that I will work to understand them. Every child communicates, whether they have words or not, and it is our job to hear them and help them be heard by others.
I don't have any formal awards, but I'm always honored when parents and colleagues send me referrals. :)
I earned my Masters degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst as part of a fellowship cohort trained specially in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
I hold a special interest in assistive technology and train parents on the use of iPads for a nonprofit organization in central PA, Andrew's Gift.
