TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello, my name is Amanda McDonald and I have been teaching since 2008. I love my job and feel that it is the calling on my life. For 5 years I taught 4th grade, 1 year I taught 5th grade math, and now I am the Institutional Support Specialist for grades K-5. MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to teach math as kinesthetically as possible, and include as many fun aspects as I can! I use a lot of manipulatives, games, songs, and group work to try and make math learning fun! Math is my favorite subject and I want teach in a way that my kids will love it as much as I do!
