TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2008 in a Title One school, on the border of California, Arizona, and Mexico, in Yuma, AZ. I have taught English as a Second Language, 7th and 8th grade language arts, Creative Writing, Journalism/Yearbook/Newspaper, Reading Interventions, etc.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style incorporates a lot of creative writing, student choice, role-playing scenario activities, and real-world application activities. I like my lessons to be engaging, fun, student-centered, and relevant to their lives.
