I love learning and I love helping students find a love to learn as well. One of the most effective methods that I have found to help students discover a love for learning is through play. Every child loves to play. So in my classroom I tried to find ways to combine play and learning. Math games and activities became a favorite. They became a fun way to practice skills, to review, and to cooperatively learn together. I have taught 3rd, 2nd, 5th grade, and special education in 3 different states and have found that math games and activities are an effective way to teach. Enjoy watching your students discover a love for learning.
