TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught first grade for seven years and I absolutely love it. My favorite part is seeing all of the growth from the beginning of the year first graders to the end of the year first graders. I feel incredibly blessed to enjoy going to work each and every day!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I do a lot of cooperative learning and centers within my classroom. I love to be able to integrate technology as much as I can to increase engagement as well.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Our school received the National Title One award. I presented at the National Title One conference in 2013 and 2014. I presented at the No Child Left Behind Conference is 2014.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle Indiana with my B.A. in Elementary Education. After college, I received my E.L.L Endorsement through National Lewis University.
