TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my second year of teaching 2nd grade. I taught 4th grade for six years before making the switch to primary.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I facilitate a classroom where the students participate in creating and managing the community. I believe the teacher is always the the final decision maker but must first let the students attempt to find solutions on their own. I help my students become independent, to the point where they can make decisions about how they show their learning.
