TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 7th year teaching high school math and computers. I teacher Algebra II (7yrs), Geometry (5 yrs) and Computer Applications (7yrs). In addition, I teach middle school math during the summer, with an emphasis on fractions.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I traditionally follow the, "I Do, We Do, You Do" teaching style utilizing very structured note packets that I create. I also enjoy using review games and stations as a way to review material and prepare for tests and quizzes. I encourage group work and students helping one another during homework time. I want them to take responsibility for their learning, and be able to explain their processes to one another.
