This is a powerpoint I made that we used on our 50th day of school. We dressed up like we were from the 50's. This powerpoint compares items from the 1950's to items we have today. A great mini social studies lesson.
This is an activity that requires the students to put the sentences in order. I print these on different colored cardstock. I used this for a Pin Den center where students use clothespins to hang the sentences. This could also be used in a pocket
This is a pocket chart activity using vowels. I used this activity to have students distinquish between short and long vowels. I put all the a vowel words in a bag and students sorted by short a and long a. I did this with the other vowels as well.
