17 years of middle and high school teacher experience. I have taught a wide variety of Social Studies subjects over the years. Most of my experience is in teaching multiple levels (AP, Honors, Standard, & Inclusion) in US History and World History. In addition to US History, I am currently teaching electives Social Studies Humanities & Global Studies.
I am a hands on teacher who is a believer in multiple intelligences. I write my curriculum to reach my students in a variety of ways. I also prefer to have my students analysis and draw conclusions from materials. I have spent time modifying my more advanced lessons for my students with lower abilities. I believe it is important to keep the rigor the same for all students.
