I graduated with a degree in Education. I became a substitute teacher for a year. Then I was offered a co-teaching/observation position at a school in Georgia. I then taught summer school at a high school in Arizona. After that I summer I joined Teach for America. I am finishing up my second year at a Magnet College Prep High School as a Pre-A.P. teacher. I am excited to share my resources with you.
I have a modern teaching style. I am a very hands on type of person. I want my students to have as much fun as possible while learning. However, at the same time I am a goal driven teacher. I want my students to be able to articulate what their goals are for my classroom, our school and their future. I am a huge stickler for behavior and I do not allow my students to goof off.
Teach for America Corps Member 2011-2013 Teacher of the week March 2012. Teacher of the week October 2012.
I am a 2010 graduate of The University of Alabama! Roll Tide Roll! I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I will be attending graduate school in the next two years to attain a masters in Secondary Education & Administration.
