TEACHING EXPERIENCE

19 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology working with children with developmental delays, autism, Down syndrome, articulation and language delays. I love what I do! Everyday is a challenge and never boring!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Fun but very structured! We only have 30 minutes per session--we have to work, but it had better be FUN!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have never won a tangible award for what I do but my awards and honors do not come in the form of paper or trophies. My awards and honors are the students that I have seen or helped that are now successful in their lives. When they come back and give me a hug or send me a picture of them graduating high school or anything like that--for me that is the best honor and award ever!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

BA degree from Columbia College '97 Master's in Communication Disorders from University of South Carolina 2001

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a wonderful, supportive husband and daughter. I give all credit and inspiration first to the Lord. The units that are in my store are units that I use to work with my students "in the trenches" as a school based SLP everyday!
