TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My experience spans a variety of Special Education Settings: Middle School Self Contained (7th grade push-in and resource, 8th grade Co-Teaching for English and Math as well as resource, 6-8 moderate disabilities self-contained) Elementary School (3-5 Extended School Year services including community based activities, K-5 moderate/severe disabilities using ULS curriculum). Tutoring (ranging from elementary level reading comprehension, writing skills and homework completion to High School SAT Prep and writing composition as well as organization skills).

MY TEACHING STYLE

A variety of multi-disciplinary styles are used including multiple intelligences, heterogeneous and homogeneous grouping in addition to differentiated instruction. A focus on social integration and community based social experiences.
