TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught everything K-12 and higher education. There are great things about every age and grade level that I love being able to teach different grades and subjects. Adjunct instructor since 2009 at Chapman University in the College of Educational Studies

MY TEACHING STYLE

The love of learning and sharing knowledge is a primary goal in my classroom. I believe education is an important tool in enriching your life spiritually, emotionally, and physically. As a teacher it is my duty to coach my students in how to seek and find knowledge on their own. Teaching and learning is facilitated in conventional and non-conventional ways including Socratic discussion and the integration of technology. While traditional measures of progress are useful they are not the primary assessment tools. Every student has special gifts that allow them to learn in different ways and my job is to help them maximize their strengths and minimize their challenges to be the most successful student possible in my classroom at the Hebrew Academy and beyond. I feel that completing high school is just a stepping-stone on an infinite journey of continued personal growth for each individual student I teach.
