I have been teaching for 17 years. I have taught all levels of English and History. I have taught regular, pre-ap classes, honors, and Advanced Placement classes. Currently, I am the AVID coordinator, teacher and AP History teacher. As the coordinator, I organize and give professional development to my staff.
My teaching style has progressively changed over the years to fit the needs to my students. I consider myself very innovative when it comes to teaching. My students love my teaching style because it allows them to showcase their learning using various methods: presentation, simulation, seminars, videos, and cooperative learning.
