TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 23 years. Most of those years have been teaching 2nd grade, which I absolutely LOVE!! I enjoy creating lessons on the Smart board. Several years ago our school put Smart boards in every classroom and I have been hooked since. It is one way we can compete for student's attention who are used to lots of graphics, action, and interactive games.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Since my district is using EDI (Explicit Direct Instruction), most of my lessons are Smart board lessons using EDI format. They can be changed easily by adding your own text, content etc. I have so many that it would take a long time to get them all posted but I will be working on it. In the meantime, if you have a specific skill, please contact me to see if I have a lesson for it. I probably do, and I can post it quickly for you so you can have it.
