I have taught for 6 years in 3rd grade. All of my life I grew up with teachers in my family. I knew from a young age I wanted to be a teacher and so I kept my eyes on that dream and here I am today. Reading was always one of my favorite subjects so that is what I enjoy teaching the most and enjoy making and finding new things for teaching it. If you have a book you would like a study for, let me know and I will try and do it. Otherwise I typically make studies for books I want to use with my students but cannot find a study already made.
I am very big into reading. I love reading and if I could, I would teach reading and writing all day long. I love teaching small groups too. I start my reading time every day with a 20 minute mini lesson then break off into small groups. Novel studies are one thing I use in my reading groups and so when I cannot find a novel study I like or want to use, then I write my own.
Yet to be added
I graduated Pittsburg State University with an Elementary Education degree in 3 1/2 years. I then turned around and got a Masters in Reading Specialist right after that.
Please let me know if you ever find a mistake in my products. I always am a little annoyed when I pay for a product and find a mistake, so PLEASE let me know and I would be happy to fix it. Since I usually write a novel study to use with my students I am usually teaching when I find the mistakes and forget to go back and re-post a fixed one. It will not hurt my feelings if you tell me. My kiddos are always great about pointing them out so I am used to it :) Happy reading!!
