I was a substitute teacher for 10 years before I received my teaching degree. I have taught 5th grade for 8 years. I have been a social studies, language arts, and reading teacher for the eight years in 5th grade. I have student taught in 4th grade and in 2nd grade. I have substituted in all grades K-12
I use a variety of teaching styles from whole group, partners, cooperative groups, and hands-on learning. I differentiate to the needs of the students, but use a wide array of teaching techniques.
