TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Iva is a teacher, linguistics researcher and digital artist based in New York City. She has taught and developed curricula at preschools and kindergartens and worked at Sesame Workshop, MTV, OCON Animation Studios, focusing on children’s language and literacy education. Currently, Iva is leading the team at Anilab to create fun and engaging content for young children to learn and have fun at the same time. The Aniland has been shown to children in classrooms and has been found to be effective in both digital and print format.

MY TEACHING STYLE

At an early age, children learn best through play. The focus of the literacy education is repetition and familiarization through fun activities. Iva encourages collaboration and peer interaction in the classroom. Also, she uses touchscreen tablets or screen media to engage children, as well as print media.
