TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an enthusiastic educator who has taught math, statistics, and economics for the past 12 years at the college level. I also wrote the Principles of Microeconomics course for the new bachelor’s degree program.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach so that my students can make sense of all the new ideas that they run into each day and use them effectively. My ultimate goal is to help my students attain the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to solve problems and become independent thinkers. I use different methodologies that aid in the creation and maintenance of my classes and training. It has helped me provide the features my students need to become engaged and invested in learning. I believe an educator must move beyond the traditional model of schooling to a point at which students can learn effectively. I work diligently to continue to meet the teaching standards and to broaden and deepen my student’s knowledge.
