Anita Marcott, SLP D, CCC-SLP has worked with children from birth to age 26 for 37 years. She has served as a teacher of adolescents with cognitive disabilities, a preschool language teacher in a cross-categorical classroom, a speech-language pathologist in an autism program for children (birth to 26) and as a public school speech-language pathologist serving children with a myriad of communication disorders. Dr. Marcott has also served as faculty lead in the autism department of Saginaw Valley State University and as adjunct faculty in childhood communication disorders at Eastern Michigan University. She is the author of Evaluating Acquired Skills In communication (EASIC - 3), a comprehensive assessment tool for those functioning under a 6 year cognitive level, Word Card Software for early literacy skills, and the Everyday Activities for Speech and Language intervention (EASI) series that contains activities to meet common IEP goals and objectives used by public school SLPs. Currently Dr, Marcott consults, supervises speech-language pathologists and clinical fellows, and presents seminars.
