I have been a teacher for 20 years. I have taught primarily 4th grade during those years...but have also been in every grade level K-6! I hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I consider myself a creative and innovative teacher, and I look forward to sharing the materials I have developed for my (and your) classroom use!
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education. -Martin Luther King, Jr. "Teaching and learning should bring joy. How powerful would our world be if we had kids who were not afraid to take risks, who were not afraid to think, and who had a champion? Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." -Rita Pierson
~Hugs and love notes from students! Best honor/awards around! ~Kudos from parents who entrust their kids to me each day!
