Anthony has 35 years experience in the Old Bridge Public School System. He taught 6th grade mathematics and 6th - 8th grade drafting and design. He also taught basic math at a local community college. Linda has 30 years experience in the Old Bridge Public School System. She taught 3rd grade, 7th and 8th grade mathematics, HS Geometry to 8th grade advanced students and 6th - 8th grade computer science. She also taught Algebra at a local high school and basic math at a local community college.
Teaching mathematics in a way so that students will discover the rule or formula instead of just presenting it to them. Teaching relevant material in an enjoyable manner resulting in the students being self-motivated.
Anthony was a recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award (1988). Linda is listed in the International Who’s Who in Education (1987), the International Who’s Who of Intellectuals (1990), and the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (2005 – 2006).
Anthony Iorlano earned his Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Education Degree in Technology Education from The College of New Jersey. Additional graduate studies were completed at Georgian Court University in Supervision and Curriculum which led to a Supervisor and Principal certification. Linda J. Iorlano earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Montclair State University in Education and European History. She took courses for a secondary mathematics endorsement at Rutgers University and an elementary endorsement at Kean University. She then took a Master of Arts Degree at Georgian Court University in Supervision and Curriculum.
In addition to his teaching experience Anthony was a designer and drafter with civil engineering firms in New Jersey during the summer months as well as weekends and holidays. Later on he served as a division leader for local summer camps. Summers are now spent enjoying sports, traveling and visiting family. Linda met Anthony while directing the middle school musical. He designed and built the set for her. She also worked at summer camps. Besides teaching, she also enjoys reading, playing the piano, needlework, crocheting and visiting family.
