TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Anthony has 35 years of teaching experience in the Old Bridge Township Public School System in New Jersey. There he taught 6th grade mathematics and 6th through 8th grade drafting and design. He also taught basic math at Brookdale Community College in NJ. Linda has 30 years experience in the Old Bridge Township Public School System. There she taught 3rd grade elementary school, 6th through 8th grade social studies, mathematics and computers as well as HS Geometry to 8th grade advanced students. She also taught Algebra at Marlboro High School and basic math at Brookdale Community College.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching mathematics in a project based learning environment where students discover Pi, collaborate to establish rules about triangles and to prove other important mathematical principles. Engaging students in a hands-on math lab atmosphere where students are self motivated, curious and eager to learn. Drafting and design students develop their skills in a project based creative environment. After learning basic drafting skills, students design their own projects where they are encouraged to be innovative and creative in their quest to solve design problems.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Anthony was a recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award (1988). Linda is listed in the International Who’s Who in Education (1987), the International Who’s Who of Intellectuals (1990), and the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (2005 – 2006).
