I have taught AP European History since 2011-2012 and have taught AP World History since 2013-2014.
My classes are mostly lecture based, as I teach at a college-prep high school. In AP Euro the course is divided into 4 units that reflect the periods designated by the College Board. Each unit is then divided into sections (i.e 1.1 - The Renaissance, 1.2 - Protestant Reformation) to organize the content. Each section comes with a power point presentation, student outline, lecture notes for the instructor, and a content review sheet with key terms and review questions. My students have maintained a 90% pass rate or higher every year I have taught the course.
Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona (2008), graduated Magna Cum Laude. Post-Baccalaureate studies at University of Washington, Seattle (2009-2010).
