TEACHING EXPERIENCE

14 years of 9-12th grade English teaching experience, including Advanced Placement and Honors programs. Classes taught include AP English Literature, Creative Writing, World Literature, Shakespearean Literature, British Literature, Modern American Literature, History of Drama, and 9th and 10th grade English. I recently formed a Writing Center at my school and serve as its coordinator.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in transparency and honesty. I teach with integrity and try to make each moment in the classroom count. I don't believe in busy work and assign work that is genuinely useful for students in the future. I particularly like quote-driven literary analysis and differentiated learning activities. My mission is to make AP English Literature more inclusive and engaging.
