In 2011, Melissa Williams began teaching English and communication classes to military members and their dependents at an overseas military base. Later in 2014, she moved on to a stateside community college before taking a position as a high school STEM Writing and AP Language and Composition teacher in 2020.
As a professor of English and communication, Melissa Williams has a passion for teaching, and her heart is in it 100%. She takes pride in making learning a reality for anyone who wants it by creating engaging and versatile lesson plans. She motivates her students through compassionate teaching that aims to understand the adversities many college and high school students face while upholding the integrity of the curriculum objectives. Students complete her classes feeling empowered and ready to move to the next level because she refuses to leave anyone behind.

Melissa Williams lives with her husband and two teenage boys in the Phoenix area where she enjoys cycling, hiking, camping, and traveling.
