I have 26 years of experience as a classroom teacher, mentor, and educational consultant. My expertise also includes in-depth research and development of curricula for Pre-K through 12th grade. I am an author of several books and resource teaching materials. My most recent book is entitled, " Proactive Classroom Management Principles", which is a guide that gives teachers ready-to-use strategies to prevent or minimize classroom disruptions and discipline problems.

I have degrees in both curriculum and instruction and mathematics, with extensive training and teaching in early childhood learning and mathematics. I received my Doctorate (PhD) from Michigan State University. I am also a three-time reciepient of the National Science Foundation Fellowship. Much of my work now involves teacher training and mentoring.
