MY TEACHING STYLE

Applied Practice supplementary teaching workbooks are created by teachers for teachers, weaving in stimulating topical or literary instruction with standardized test preparation.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Our customers include some of the nation's top-ranked school districts, including Northeast ISD in San Antonio, whose AP program was identified by The College Board as one of the top 3 in the country.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

In 1997, two high school English teachers were inspired to launch Applied Practice while searching for ways to integrate test preparation into their daily curriculum. Continuing in this tradition, we contract current and retired teachers to write all our curriculum for English, Science, and Social Studies courses.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Applied Practice has a comprehensive catalog of supplemental materials to assist teachers in teaching a topic-based curriculum, while simultaneously preparing students for standardized tests in today's exam-driven environment. English resource guides are based on selections of literature, while Science and Social Studies resource guides are based upon a topical unit of study. Our products are now used by over 5,000 customers in all 50 states and on 4 continents.
