I have been a teacher for over twenty years working with students preschool through adult learners. I am also a School Adjustment Counselor, all grades, psychotherapist, and Creative Arts Therapist. My experiences as teacher, therapist, and provider of support (academic and beyond) have shown me that life is filled with teaching moments and have taught me to value the unexpected, within and outside the classroom. In addition to teaching, I design curriculum and school programs and am currently director of multiple programs in Creative Arts in Education and Creative Arts Therapy with The Center for Expressive Living & Creative Arts. Through my private practice (crearthcare.com & artsedconsulting.com) I offer adult education classes, certification programs, and workshops for professionals and students in the field who are interested in ways to infuse their work with the creative arts.
