This is great to see what students know before, during, and after their project. I have used this to have students to write down the objective so that they will know it and it helps to have your students hold onto these until the end of the project

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have gone through college working at five different elementary and secondary schools. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Education focusing on Art. I am now teaching at West Lane Elementary and have two years of teaching under my belt. One year had me teaching in a room and the other was myself on a cart. Now I am on my third year of teaching art!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to create experiences instead of boring lessons. I want students to go home EXCITED about what they have made in art that day. I like to give students more responsibility in their work and I assist them. I love cartoons and video games which helps me to relate to my students. I take what I like and incorporate that into what I teach. It makes the students more excited and work harder.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have got honor roll each semester of college and even now with my masters. I graduated in the top 10 percent of my class.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Education focusing on Art. I have completed my masters in Middle & Secondary Educational Studies in the summer of 2017.
