I just completed my second year in the classroom and can't wait for the next year to begin. Before teaching in the classroom I was given an opportunity to work as a Differentiation Specialist at my school. I designed games and review activities related to the Kentucky Core Content for grade levels 3-5, which is where most of my activities come from.
I like to think of my classroom as highly structured, with a lot of fun. I think the two most important things I can teach my kids are respect for others and responsibility. If they can learn how to do these two things then we can learn so much better.

I was the little girl who always loved school. So naturally, I grew up to be a teacher, so I could go to school the rest of my life! I graduated in 2009 from the University of Kentucky and now continue there to complete my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction
I just got married this past September to my middle school sweetheart and boyfiend of 10 years. We have just bought our first home together and will be moving in as soon as school lets out. We also have a niece and nephew that are my world, its so fun to have babies around. Besides that I focus all of my energy on my kids at school. I love my job and don't think I could be happier doing anything else.
