I am beginning year two at my current school, but have been teaching for the past four years. My experience includes teaching music to students in grades K-6, teaching middle school choir, and substituting teaching numerous grade levels.
I like to describe my teaching style as "organized chaos". Being a teacher who teaches over 400 students, I have to be organized. However, this does not limit my students' enthusiasm to learn. My students know what is expected of them during our class time, but they also know that we are there to have fun and to try new things.
Yet to be added
I graduated with a degree in music education from Sam Houston State University in 2010. Recently, I attended Indiana University to begin my masters degree in elementary education. Currently, I am completing my thesis and expect to graduate in December of 2015.
