TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught a combined 2nd and 3rd grade class, 4th grade, 5th grade, and middle school literacy. For about 6 years, I taught middle school literacy and technology to 1st through 9th graders. In 2016, I'm finally going back to a homeroom of 5th graders!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My whole life, I have LOVED learning. I didn't know that everyone else didn't consider it fun. I love to instill the love of learning in my students by having fun! I use a lot of routines - I like to use my time and my students' time very effectively, but I like to get to know my students individually and help make learning relative to them! I enjoy creating activities that include my students' interests!
