TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my seventh year teaching. I taught third grade for 4 years, and have recently moved to a school that is closer to home. This is my third year teaching fifth grade!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching and everything that comes with it. I love the children, and how one minute they are confused and the next the light bulb comes on. I believe in the power of cooperative groups and differentiation. I also love data. Surprising right? I like to analyze where my students are in the beginning, which areas are weaknesses and which are strengths and plan my lessons and small groups accordingly. My favorite part is see the growth in the end!
