Students will perform two dilation's (given a center and scale factor) which will then form a Christmas tree. Students were then asked to color and decorate the tree and I hang them up around the room.
They will also find the center and scale
Students will rearrange from standard form into slope intercept form. This activity gets students up out of their seats and moving around the classroom. They will rearrange a problem and look for their solution on another piece of paper in the room.
