I was a teacher from 2007-2015. I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, fourth, fifth, sixth and music. My favorite was by far first grade, I loved everything about the kids at this age, especially the curriculum. I just recently graduated with my masters in speech-language pathology and continue to work in the school setting.
I love to challenge my students and also teach them to be independent. I try to teach them critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and how to think different and creatively. I focus a lot on writing and reading because i know they are crucial for their future success in school.
I was nominated for Rookie Teacher of the Year.
I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Florida International University (2007), and my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology (2016).
